Outdoor Kitchens By Design built our outdoor kitchen many years ago, and they recently completed yet another project at our new home. You will deal directly with the owner, not some salesman - and he will be involved throughout the project. Their level of professionalism and attention to detail is not something I've seen from too many contractors. Many of our friends and neighbors have also dealt with Mark, and everyone has been very happy with their work, fair prices and follow-up. “My wife and I had the good fortune to meet Mark Allen from Outdoor Kitchens by Design as we traveled around Orange Park with only a very basic idea of what we might want in an outdoor kitchen. The showroom provided a great starting point, and Mark’s enthusiastic and knowledgeable but low-key manner assured us that every step of our design and construction would be carefully planned and appropriate to our goals and finances. We eventually added a large patio of pavers with a covered kitchen with sink, refrigerator, ice chest, large Lion gas grill, Saffire smoker, and an entertainment wall with shelving, television, and electric fireplace. To top it all off, we added a Softub spa and a fire pit area. Mark was prompt and straightforward in all of his communications with us, and his building crew did wonderful work. During the process my family was dealing with a serious medical issue requiring daily travel and treatments, but all involved were helpful and considerate in making the project not a great burden but a healthy distraction during those trying times. Having enjoyed the completed project for several months now, we could not be happier or more satisfied. The specific choices in product offered, whether general construction or specific items like grills and hot tub are excellent, and Mark in many cases offered premium product at great pricing, allowing home owner investment to yield maximum results. Without a doubt we would recommend Mark Allen and Outdoor Kitchens by Design to anyone hoping to enhance the quality of their homes and lifestyles as we did.”
